LC:M has returned to the capital, kicking off today! And it’s set to be bigger and better than ever before.
With London home to a whole host of energetic fashion designers, from those on the high street to the more bespoke, it’s safe to say that menswear is here to stay. And what better way could there be to celebrate than with a jam-packed long weekend of parties and fashion shows?
Well, it’s your lucky day. LC:M (the equivalent of London Fashion Week – or a slightly smaller, more expressive sibling) is back for its 7th season, starting today. With a vast range of young pioneering men’s fashion designers mixing with renowned story houses, we’re really in for a treat.
Launched back in 2012, LC:M, which is organised by the British Fashion Council, has quickly grown into one of the most exciting dates in the fashion calendar. Tom Ford, Craig Green and Matthew Miller will all return, alongside fresh new faces – Tommy Hilfiger and House of Holland.
And, for the first time ever, events will be open to the public. With 10 public events on offer, you can expect a weekend of catwalk shows, glamourous parties and sparkly screenings.
Aimed at the ordinary man, the public events include a talk on British print at the Hospital Club on June 15th, in-store giveaways on Seven Dials in Covent Garden and a catwalk show in Jermyn Street. Aspinal of London will also be offering complimentary embossing on all menswear products bought over LC: M.
We can’t wait to get stuck in! Tonight were heading down to Storm Men Official LCM SS16 party, held at House of Vans in association with Hunger!
If you’re attending any LC:M events, be sure to tweet us your snaps!
